Urban Decay RollerGirl Palette Review

How's it going makeup loving friends? I'm probably way late to the RollerGirl Palette party, but better late than never right?

Here we have the elusive RollerGirl palette...

Cute packaging, sturdy as well. It's a harder cardboard-like packaging, nonetheless still very study and shiny.

(From left to right):
Woodstock, Verve, Suspect, and Darkhorse.

Woodstock is the bright pink shade, I love this shade a lot. Probably one of my favorite Urban Decay shades. I wear this alone a lot, and I'm aware that not a lot of people would do that due to the fact they say they look sick and that it really doesn't go with the palette in general. I think it's fine, I wear the shade alone a lot. I love the intensity of the pink, maybe because I'm addicted to pink eyeshadow? Who knows. Just an overall bright and beautiful color with great quality.

Verve is the champagne shade next to Woodstock. Like Woodstock, the texture is smooth and the color payoff (like with almost all Urban Decay eyeshadows) is intense.

Suspect is the shade after Verve, being a lovely bronze shade. Usually I wouldn't go for bronze colors, but this one I can make an exception for. This looks gorgeous layered with the other neutral shades because it all balances out. I don't think I'd wear this by itself because bronze/golds alone on my eyes look odd. Same smooth texture, I love it.

The far-right one is Darkhorse, the dark brown shade. This, like all the others; is a very shimmery shade. But the shimmer isn't as dominant like it is in the other shades. Which I suppose is a good thing, seeing as though I really only ever use this as a crease shade. Still pretty, but it's another I wouldn't wear alone.

This comes with a 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner Pencil in Whiskey, but I bought this on instagram and it came with a brand new 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner Pencil in Zero.

Zero has become one of my favorite go-to eyeliners that I've used to date. I still don't know what the Whiskey eyeliner is like, but from what I've seen from swatches people have done, I can say it does look like a bronze/darker brown. But I would've rather had Zero over Whiskey either way. I use black eyeliner a lot more than any other color.

My overall opinion of this palette is that the 3 neutrals go great together, Woodstock looks best alone, the shadows themselves have amazing pigmentation and a nice smooth non-gritty texture to them, and I just really like that you can achieve a simple look without having 4 different singles in front of you (who really wants to carry around or rummage through to find 4 shades that go nice together? thanks, no thanks. I'll stick with my palette).

thanks for reading xx
