NEW Wet N Wild Color Icon Spring 2014 Collection Swatches!

Hey there makeup loving friends! I have some new Wet N Wild Color Icon Shadow/Glitter swatches to bring to you today. I found all of these at Walgreens on a side-aisle cardboard display. There were 5 different 5-Pan palettes, 1 new 8-Pan palette, Various shades of chunky glitter nail polish (which I only have one so far), 3 new Color Icon shadow singles, and 7 new face/body glitters (which are in the same packaging as the Color Icon shadow singles).

There's this awesome 8-Pan palette called 737A 'Poster Child', with very bright and vibrant matte shadows. This is a pure matte palette, like that of the 'Drinking A Glass Of Shine' or the 'I <3 Matte' palette (which look the exact same, by the way). These have a very smooth texture to them for being matte. These are not chalky at all. These all are very pigmented.

Packaging is a basic black plastic for the back and clear plastic for the lid like the palettes in the permanent line.

  1. Top Left - Very Light Matte Baby Pink
  2. 2nd Row, Left - Light Matte Cotton Candy
  3. 3rd Row, Left - Medium Matte Red/Dark Pink
  4. 4th Row, Left - Matte Charcoal/Black
  5. Top Right - Bright Matte Yellow
  6. 2nd Row, Right - Matte Seafoam Green
  7. 3rd Row, Right - Medium Matte Blue
  8. 4th Row, Right - Dark, Rich Matte Blue

On to the new 5-Pan palettes...
There are 5 different 5-Pan palettes available right now on the displays.

1. 393A 'Floral Values'

This is something I had have. You have a nice variety of shades to pick from and all go together nicely. Very gorgeous, and for $3.99 (some have a $1.00 off coupon attached to them so keep an eye out), this is a good deal. The packaging is the same size as the 6-Pan palettes they used to make. Really smooth shadows, just great overall.

3 out of the 5 shades are very pigmented, the other 2 are fairly sheer.
(I swatched all of the 5-Pan palettes exact to where they are in the pan)

  1. The top right shade is a matte creme.
  2. The left shade is a sheer pink shimmer.
  3. The very bottom shade is a slightly shimmery deep purple.
  4. The middle shade is a bright matte purple.
  5. The shade on the far right is a slightly shimmery bubble gum pink.

2. 395A 'The Naked Truth'

This is my second favorite, I love my neutrals. This is the perfect neutral eye without even having to really try. It's all mapped out for you, easy especially for beginners.

  1. The top right shade is a matte champagne.
  2. The left shade is a frosty white.
  3. The very bottom shade is a medium brown shimmer.
  4. The middle shade is a deep matte brown.
  5. The shade on the far right is a frosty taupe.

3. 394A 'I'm His Breezey'
This is my third favorite palette. The two brightest blues are initially what pops out and catches your eye. These are great shades.

  1. The top right shade is a matte white.
  2. The left shade is a frosty light blue.
  3. The very bottom shade is a dark blue shimmer.
  4. The middle shade is dark blue matte.
  5. The shade on the far right is a frosty sky blue.

4. 392A 'Tunnel Vision'

This palette reminds me a lot of the Color Icon trio in Don't Steal My Thunder, just more shades for an extra dramatic black smoky eye.

  1. The top right shade is a matte white.
  2. The left shade is a frosty silver.
  3. The very bottom shade is a charcoal/black shimmer.
  4. The middle shade is matte carbon black.
  5. The shade on the far right is a grey/silver shimmer.

5. 391A 'Art in the Streets'

This is the most colorful out of all of them, while being all matte as well. I love the vibrant shades in this palette. Sort of similar to the Summer 2013 Pop Art collection they came out with as far as the color selection goes. Nice and soft for being matte shades, only a minimal amount of chalkiness. Nonetheless, still very vibrant and gorgeous.

  1. The top right shade is a bright orange matte.
  2. The left shade is a bright purple matte.
  3. The very bottom shade is a light blue matte.
  4. The middle shade is bright yellow matte.
  5. The shade on the far right is a medium green matte.

On to the Color Icon Face/Body Glitters...
I've found only 7 different glitters so far in the displays, and picked all of them up. Reading the back, they claim to only be for the face and body. I would assume because of the massive amount of glitter that it wouldn't be feasible to put that around your eyes. These come off in the swatches as really pigmented for just being cream glitters. A transparent cream with the different shade/colors of glitter in each and every one. These are pretty neat if you haven't messed with glitter a whole lot. Especially for costumes or more dramatic holiday-themed looks. For being a regular 99 cent product (when I bought them at Walgreens they were on sale for 69 cents), it's an awesome deal for a really good product.

(From top left to very bottom in order;)
Binge, Groupie, Vices, Distortion, Brass, Spiked, and Bleached.

A closer look..

'354B - Binge'
A dark purple glitter.

'355B - Groupie'
Medium pink glitter.

'356B - Vices'
A blood red glitter.

'357B - Distortion'
A teal-blue glitter.

'352B - Brass'
A bright gold glitter.

'353B - Spiked'
A extremely silver glitter.

'351B - Bleached'
A white-gold gorgeous glitter.

The 3 new Color Icon Shadow Singles...

These are pretty pigmented, smooth, and overall would actually look good if they put these 3 shades in a trio palette form.
(From left to right):
Unchained, Suede, and Cheeky.

A closer look...

'306A - Unchained'
Sheer but shimmery silver.

'307A - Suede'
Dark blue shimmer.

'302A - Cheeky'
Dark pink/magenta shimmer.

Mega Rocks Glitter nail color...

It's pretty self-explanatory as far as the name goes. It's a clear polish with the bigger, more chunky glitter in it. I only have one shade so far, but plan on getting more soon. It doesn't have any pigmentation to it, just the glitter as shown in the swatch below.

'492C - Creative Control'
Dark pink/magenta glitter.

My overall opinion on everything is that Wet N Wild has definitely stepped it up, especially with the 5-Pan palettes and the new 8-Pan palette. They have a variety of shades to pick from, all with really great quality. Very cheap and wallet friendly as well.

These retail at Walgreens for:
Color Icon 5-Pan palettes - $3.99 ($1.00 coupon may be attached)
Color Icon 8-Pan palette - $4.99
Color Icon shadow singles: .99 cents (.69 cents on sale)
Color Icon Glitters: .99 cents (.69 cents on sale)
Mega Rocks Glitter nail color - $2.99 ($1.00 coupon may be attached)

Thank you for reading xx

#JollyVoxBox December 2013 Unboxing/Review.

I received my first VoxBox today from Influenster.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It contains 5 different items to try out, and a card with all the information about each product on the back.

1.

First is the Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates in Peanut Butter Creme and Chocolate. I would just like to say these things are delicious. I had never tried the Skinny Cow candy before and now I want to eat the whole box. These things (as long as you like peanut butter) are absolutely amazing. Made by Nestle, so I expected them to be pretty good to begin with. 130 Calories per pouch (but who counts calories anymore? lol) Nonetheless, so good and overall pleased with these.

2.

Next is the Puffs travel-sized tissue pack (plus lotion) containing 10 tissues. I have issues with tissues causing my nose to become red and dry from blowing it when I'm sick. I tried one of the tissues earlier today and I really like them. They're soft, smooth on the skin, and portable. I'm going to put these in my purse and buy a box of them to keep in my house, these are awesome.

3.

After that is the Duck Brand Mini Duckling baby sized ducktape. This comes in cute designs/patterns, the one I received has a multicolored paint splatter pattern. I love the colors and the paint splatter concept. It works just as good as the regular sized DuckTape by the same brand. I think it's a good idea because not everything requires a huge amount of DuckTape (with the width of the regular size tape). Would make as a nice gift as well. Pretty pleased with this.

4.

Next is the NYC (New York Color) HD Color Trio in 781 Long Beach Sands. I have one of these trios I bought not too long ago in a different shade and I really like the wear on them and the lack of creasing. I'm glad I received new colors to try out, especially since they're neutral. The swatches indicate that the highlight shade is a frosty white-champagne shade, the middle shade is a medium brown, and the bottom shade is a frosty taupe.

5.

Last is the Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer gloss in Stargazer. I think out of everything I received in this VoxBox, this is my favorite thing. It is the perfect shade for me as well. It is a pretty golden shimmery gloss. The smell is pleasant, the taste is good as well, and the overall wear is great. I love this gloss, and I really want more of them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a photo of the card that came in the VoxBox. This lists the prices, full names of the items and details of each thing in the box. Very informative otherwise I really wouldn't have known the prices of certain things.

Now would I purchase any of these things? Absolutely. I have a use for all of these things, and I'm glad this box was very relevant to my interests. I'd like to thank Influenster for this box and letting me review these things.

I would also like to include that these opinions are all my own, and I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.
